Seed shape and colour characteristics: LR-68 analyzed with BELT
Overview
Parent Research Study
Experiment Summary
Seed coat color is an economically important trait in lentil that can affect lentil market class, milling quality, and richness of phenolic compounds. To improve phenotyping accuracy without personal bias, we employed a computer-visual based platform named as Better Evaluation of Lentil Technology (BELT) to phenotype seed coat color in three interspecific inbred populations (LR-68, LR-70, and LR-86) grown in various environments.
